Littler admits to having enjoyed a “Super Sunday at the Theatre of Dreams”, with a collection of images shared on Instagram showing him meeting Sir Alex Ferguson and Bruno Fernandes, while also being interviewed alongside former United defender Jaap Stam – a member of the club’s 1999 Treble-winning squad.

United were unable to deliver a win for Littler to celebrate, but they were pleased to see Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford back among the goals against Spurs – with the attacking duo having been surprisingly short on end product over recent weeks.
