Foden has not been included in City's squad for their clash with the Tractor Boys on Saturday, but Gundogan has made an instant return after his transfer from Barcelona. The Germany international spent seven years at the Etihad before moving to Spain for a single season, and could now be in line for his second debut.

Foden misses out through illness, the club has confirmed. The England international did not start City's first game, a 2-0 win over Chelsea, and instead came on as a substitute, having been granted an extended break after England's run to the Euro 2024 final.
DID YOU KNOW?
If Gundogan comes off the bench, he will bring up his 305th appearance for City. The 33-year-old has been there and done it all with the Premier League champions, winning the title on no fewer than five occasions, as well as the Champions League, four League Cups, and two FA Cups.
